Halloween always feels like the kickoff to the holiday season, and we love seeing all the decorations and costumes! With the holiday season also comes treats, big family dinners, and lots of temptation that can make you feel like you’re going backwards in your health journey.
But, don’t worry! To help you kick off Halloween on the right track, we’ve found some delicious alternatives that are much healthier than anything you can find in the candy bowl.
Bloody Cups
These treats are so festive, easy to make, and delicious! Vegan and gluten-free, this recipe uses 3 simple ingredients, including frozen raspberries for the insides, and will leave your sweet tooth happy, without the calories!

Spooky Fruit Slices
We absolutely love the use of mini cookie cutters for these apple slices! Eat them plain or dip them in natural peanut butter or melted dark chocolate. The best part is that you’re not limited to just apples! Use them for any fruit large enough for the cookie cutters, or use them with cheese to top crackers.

Candy Corn Fruit Parfait
Whether you love candy corn or not, this fruit parfait is a great way to give the impression of candy corn without all the added sugar and calories! Using fresh fruit, you simply layer mandarin oranges, pineapple, and whipped cream of your choice! Top it with a piece of candy corn if you like and your Halloween treat is ready to go!

Caramel Apple Nachos
Apples have tons of antioxidants, they are high in dietary fiber, and they taste absolutely delicious. Since apples are sweet and full of flavor on their own, you don’t need a lot of the caramel or chocolate toppers, which is why we love this recipe.

Spiderweb Black Bean Hummus
We couldn’t complete our Halloween guilt free treat guide without something for snacking! This black bean hummus is delicious and great for you! Black beans are high in protein and fiber to keep you satisfied and full longer. Pair it with veggies for dipping or healthy tortilla chips.
