Think Gatorade, but fresher tasting and without the dyes and fillers!
We’ve all heard the mantra: drink 8 glasses of water a day. And that’s great baseline advice. Staying well hydrated is crucial for so many reasons: happier mood, easier digestion, better sleep, and more energy to name just a few.
But keeping hydrated involves so much more than just drinking water – especially during the summer months when you are active outdoors and temps are soaring. Sports drinks can help you replenish the glycogen and minerals you lose through activity and sweat. But the best ones are expensive, and the cheaper varieties are usually packed with fillers, dyes, and extra sugar.
Fortunately, you can make your own sports drink, and deliver all the same benefits of the store-bought stuff, while tailoring it to your tastes and taking it easy on wallet and gut.
