5 Easy Back-to-School Self-Care Hacks


News Flash: Those lazy days of summer are gone. That’s right, parents, school is back in session, which means busy schedules and adjusting to a new routine. You are rushing to get school supplies, coordinating carpools, and packing lunches, all while possibly putting in an 8-hour day at the office.

Overwhelmed yet? You bet!

There’s an adjustment period for any significant schedule change. Prime example: Going back to school. To manage this added stress, staying on top of your self-care is more important than ever.

We are begging you to PLEASE include self-care in your new schedule. And as we said in our What People Get Wrong About Self-Care blog, it’s so much more than a bubble bath and a glass of wine. (But, hey, nothing wrong with that!)

We’ve gathered five easy-to-implement self-care hacks for your summer-to-fall transition.

  1. Make Time for a New Exercise Routine
    Do you have some extra time now that the kids are back in school? This is the perfect time to rededicate yourself to health and fitness.
